True to the Duke blood running in his veins, Jeff is a dreamer just like his mother, Bernice. It was first of all her dream to sell land and farms to purchase the old school now known as Jonah Ministries. Once Jeff knew it was God’s will to transition from dairy farming to running a Christian Camp, the focus of his dreams also shifted. Now, if you ask, you must be ready to hear one of many dreams running through his mind at any given time.

Most recent is the dream of purchasing a 60 acre piece of property located just outside of Trout Lake. Many of us have joined this prayer journey and are watching to see if the “Big God” that Jeff told the realtor about agrees with this dream or not. We mere humans believe that owning this property could be a vital step in growth for both our winter retreats and our summer camps. The location of this property is just high enough in location that it gets more snow than we do here at the current property. It is also settled into a beautiful, forested area, but has been cleared out enough for a man-made lake, a new ropes course area, places for cabins, snowmobiling, field games, etc.
