As we approach a significant milestone in the life of Camp Jonah, we are announcing the search for a new Executive Director. This change marks both a moment of gratitude for Jeff and Beki’s incredible leadership and an exciting opportunity for the camp to enter a new chapter of growth and impact. We are looking to fill this position by Spring 2026.
The Executive Director (ED) of Camp Jonah is someone who believes that hearts change when people experience the joy of God in a place full of laughter, fun, and connection. As the face of Camp Jonah, the ED will lead a team committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where guests can grow spiritually and build lasting relationships. This role includes overseeing camp operations, staff, programming, and finances, all while ensuring that every guest leaves as a friend. The ideal candidate is spiritually grounded, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about creating a place where people connect with God—and each other—in a beautiful, welcoming setting.

Qualifications:
- Committed Christian with a heart for ministry and Christian camping.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a retreat center, nonprofit, or hospitality management.
- Strong Biblical foundation and servant leadership style.
- Experience in strategic planning, fundraising, and team-building.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships.
- Must live near Trout Lake or be willing to relocate.
- Serve as the camp's representative and ambassador
- Manage staff, operations, facilities, and programming with a vision for growth
- Foster relationships with campers, guest groups, staff, and community
- Ensure legal compliance and safety
- Oversee budgeting and financial stewardship
- Collaborate with the Board on strategic goals and fundraising
- $67,000-$80000 annual salary, 403b retirement, paid time off
