Being on Summer Staff at Camp Jonah is hard work—but it's the best kind of hard work. You’ll laugh until your sides hurt, work until you’re bone-tired, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Along the way, you'll build deep friendships with a team that will feel like family by the end of the summer. More than that, you’ll grow in your faith as you pour into the lives of campers and lean into what God is doing in and through you.

Summer Staff Positions

Work with a team of 6 young adults to mentor, teach, and work with our summer staff team. Click for more information.

Lead a cabin of 6-8 campers for a week and work on the frontlines, sharing the love of Jesus while having a crazy amount of fun

Work behind the scenes with your friends to make camp happen. Whether it's the kitchen, camp store, cleaning, or helping run an activity, the dream team is essential to camp!

Come as a speaker, worship leader, photographer, Cabin Leader, etc. Short term volunteers play a key roll in changing lives at camp!

New this year!
​In addition to our Summer Leadership Team being paid sub-minimum wage ($200 a week), we have 10 positions available to pay staff subminimum ($150 a week), this is for staff who are 18+ and able to commit to at least 5 weeks of the summer.

Staff aged 14-15

If you’re 14 or 15 years old and excited about the opportunity to be part of our camp community, we encourage you to apply! Your involvement this summer will include:

1. Staff Training (May 23-26, 2025) – A time to connect with your team and complete essential safety training to prepare for camp.
2. Serve Week (June 15-20, 2025) – A hands-on opportunity to learn how camp operates.
3. A Two-Week Block (Dates below) – Where you’ll serve as support staff for two awesome weeks of camp!

During your time at camp, you’ll help out in areas like the kitchen, camp store, activity stations, cleaning, and providing general assistance wherever it’s needed. For more information, see the Dream Team job description above.

• Block 1: July 6–18
• Block 2: July 20–31

14-15 Staff Application

If you are excited to make a difference at camp, being a part of what God is doing at Camp Jonah, then we would love for you to apply to be on our summer staff team! Your involvement this summer will include:

3. Summer (June 23-August 1, 2025) – Choose from a variety of positions, including Summer Leadership Team, Cabin Leader, Dream Team, or short-term roles like Speakers, Worship Leaders, and Bus Captains. For more information about job descriptions and pay, see the positions above.

Summer Commitment Options

• Full Summer (June 23–August 1, 2025): Our preference is for staff who can commit to the full summer, helping build strong teams and consistent camper experiences.
• Part-Time: We also greatly value short-term staff, whose contributions in filling specific needs and roles are essential to camp’s success.
